Caught on Tape

And naturally nobody helped.

Ever notice the same ant farmers who want to force us out of our cars and into public transportation also want us disarmed?

"Ain't Nothing Like a Comeback"

He said although he's prohibited from endorsing candidates or campaigning for them, he doesn't plan to change his sense of activism.
I guess that means Snuffy can still urge mobs to "snuff out" people.

"Their beloved pastor..."

Nice objective reporting there, "Authorized Journalist" Pamela Jones.

Funny how you don't mention that the Snuffster's citizen disarmament efforts are indistinguishable from Paul Mayom's:
"If you don't do it we'll take it by force."
Like a rat, we're going to catch you and pull you out.

The "Common Sense Gun Laws" Loophole

25-page record of arrests accompanies gun suspect
Dang.

Call it a crazy hunch, but somehow, I don't think the solution includes harassing you and me.

A Veto in Montesano

Mayor Ron Schillinger says he vetoed a gun ban in city parks after receiving numerous protest messages, many of them from National Rifle Association members across the nation.

Schillinger says there are legal issues that need further discussion.

You damn bet'cha.

Moral ones, too.

Some of the hate-filled comments on this one are a hoot.

IMPORTANT REMINDER ON NATIONAL PARKS BILL

We've been talking about this for some months now. You've already submitted your comments, right?

No?

The comment period closes on June 30th. That means if you want to send a letter, you need to get it in the mail without delay:

Public Comments Processing
Attn: 1024-AD70
Division of Policy and Directives Management
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service
4401 N. Fairfax Drive, Suite 222
Arlington, VA 22203

At the very least, submit your thoughts online.

That's not asking too much, is it? Based on results, you have time to be reading a blog right now. Let's get it done right now.

We're the Only Ones Who Really Know How to Treat You Enough

When drivers are stopped for moving violations, they shouldn't be treated simply as speeders — they should be regarded as possible felons.

Great attitude there, Chief Deputy. I remember a similar one expressed by a Chief Inspector:
I suspect everyone and I suspect no one.
I guess that's another way of saying if you're not an "Only One," you just can't be trusted.

And the bond of affection between "us" and "them" just keeps growing stronger...

A Formula for Success

South Sudan to disarm civilians...

"If you don't do it we'll take it by force."
This ought to end well.

Jer...uh...KirkWatch

We've been following the latest treachery in the form of an "assault weapon" ban by Republican Mark Kirk. Here are some new observations:

Sean says it's about registration, and we know where that leads to. You're not wrong, Sean, that's one of the results.

What do you do if you're a "moderate republican" who attacks gun owners and they give you the response you deserve? Go crying to your democrat friends about the mean old "right wing gun zealots/loonies."

What a political genius you are, Mark Kirk, as is your sycophant, Team America. What better way to win a toss-up race than poking a stick into this hornet's nest--and keeping it up?

Speaking of T&A, "Anonymous" posted a comment (at June 22, 2008 2:45 AM) showing us how to recognize techniques used to manipulate an argument--which is all some have left to them when the truth isn't on their side. Funny how that always seems to be the case with control nazis and their mantra-chanting drones.

This Day in History: June 22

Captain Daniel Morgan was chosen to lead one of the companies on June 22, 1775. He raised ninety-six men in ten days.
