We're the Only Ones Giving Testimonials Enough

Three city police officers - two active, one recently resigned - were indicted Wednesday on charges they lied in court testimony or on police reports in two incidents.
Oh, like they're the "Only Ones" who have ever done that...

We're the Only Ones Gangsta Enough

“He said, “I’ll kill you,’” Kevin recalled.

Kevin said Hanley held the gun sideways “gangland” style rather than upright as police officers are trained. “The creepy part was how he held the pistol, like you see in a movies,” he said.

"The Only Ones" does kind of sound like one, doesn't it?

More 'Gun Control'? Oy Vey!

I'd planned on talking about the second sponsor of the Mayors Against YOUR Guns conference, the National Council of Jewish Women. I know you're just dying to meet them--or could be if they have their way.
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column...

Tell a friend.

I Hope I Can Get One...

...before they're discontinued.

I was broken-hearted when my campaign memorabilia order got canceled.

A Coincidence

Memphis police identified the body of transgender woman Duanna Johnson lying in the street near Hollywood and Staten Avenue early this morning.

Police believe Johnson was shot some time before midnight on Sunday. No suspects are in custody at this time.

Hmmm...

It's probably not even fair of me to speculate. I just wish I had more reasons for trust...

Rick Levin's Anti-Gun Wit

Oh, Rick, you're so clever in your put-downs, and so well informed!

Here, have one of these. No charge, man, you earned it.

An Unusual Tactic

Though drugs were not involved in the Blackwater shooting, the Justice Department is pondering the use of a law, passed at the height of the nation's crack epidemic, to prosecute the guards. The Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1988 law calls for 30-year prison terms for using machine guns to commit violent crimes of any kind, whether drug-related or not.
So, depending on the circumstances, resistance to gun confiscation could result in drug charges?

I guess if it comes to that, it won't really matter.

Given enough opportunities for innovation, I suppose all kinds of unusual tactics might emerge.

We Did it to Ourselves

As Tonto asked when the Lone Ranger informed him they were surrounded by Indians, "What you mean we?"

When Irish Lies are Piling

Glock, the gangster's favourite gun, to be banned from Ireland next year...

There are currently 1,900 legally held handguns, up from a handful in 2004.
And what does one have to do with the other?
The Minister understands there is no connection between gangland crime and legally held handguns. But he is concerned about the proliferation of handguns in society.
Oh, I see. You can get away with disarming the peaceable citizens. Gangsters might fire back.

I'd suggest maybe the citizens might do the same, but that would hardly be pra...naaah, I don't want to start a fight.

We're the Only Ones Adding to Your Labors Enough

Jennifer Davis was stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic on Nov. 18, her contractions just 3 minutes apart. Her husband, John, was trying to appear calm for his wife's sake, driving in the breakdown lane of Route 2. They pulled up behind a state trooper to ask whether they could continue using the lane to reach the next exit, near Alewife Station.

Not only did the trooper say no, he gave them a $100 citation for driving in the breakdown lane, made them wait for their citation while he finished writing someone else's ticket, and even seemed to ask for proof of pregnancy, Jennifer Davis said.

I wonder if this...this "Only One" had ended up under the front bumper, dragged and smeared along the breakdown lane, if a justifiable defense of life argument could be made? Naw, this is Boston, after all.

And note once again how our wonderful "Authorized Journalist" watchdog media lets us know the names of everyone involved except the fascist pinhead on the public dole. I'm informed I did not read far enough into the article--Trooper Michael Galluccio.

And save your explanation of the rules, "State Police spokesman DavidProcopio." God, if my job required me to go out there and justify this kind of crap, I hope I'd have the basic human decency to just hang myself.

Here's another testimonial for Appleseed.

Stunningly Idiotic

I'm a gun owner. I have handguns, rifles and shotguns. I hunt, and my son hunts. I believe in the Second Amendment. However, I don't believe in this insane law, and it should obviously be repealed in the very next session.
You're also a well-to-do democrat contributor/John Edwards supporter.

Does that make you Fuddingly idiotic?

This Day in History: December 5

...the Garrison is so weak at Ticonderoga, the Conveyance from the fort to the landing so indifferc & the passage across the lake so precarious that I am afraid it will be ten days at least before I can get them on this side the lake...
