The Tovarisch Solution

"I just don't see any opposition to it," Lavin said. "I've talked to quite a few of my comrades, and they seem to like it." [More]
Well, yeah...anybody who goes by "Comrade" probably would...

Show Me the Money

“They have been showing you drugs and arms, but where is the money?” asked Rafael Correia, 22, who works at a furniture store in Alemão. “We had tons of money here. Complexo do Alemão was a money mine. So did the criminals leave here with all that money? Or where is it now?” [More]
Silly Rafael.

I'll bet you think you've seen all the guns and drugs, too.

How do you say "Only Ones" in Portuguese?

We're the Only Ones...

...Neighborly Enough
...With Just the Right Prescription Enough
...Not Afraid to Make the First Move Enough
...Promotable Enough
...Motivating Kids Enough
...All in the Family Enough
...One More for the Road Enough
...Behind a Protective Shield Enough
...Stopping Enough
...Penetrating Enough
...For the Children Enough

Determined to Hang Separately

You limited horizons barkeeps just don't get it, do you? [Read]

That's OK by me if your ability to conduct your business as you see fit is progressively eroded.  Too bad for you that instead of partnering with freedom advocates, and maybe learning something, you're determined to impose limitations on them instead.

It's Friday. That means after I grill my steaks (thanks for the Cajun spices, Mr. G!) it's the enclosed porch for me, with maybe about two--hell, make it three-- fingers of the good stuff (at a fraction of what you'd charge), a nice maduro (with nobody telling me I can't light up), genuine companionship, and unfettered access to whatever I decide is appropriate in terms of personal security measures.

What do I need you for again?

On the bright side, maybe you can all become cop hangouts.

We're the Only Ones Not Finding Enough

A tip about stolen property and weapons launched a search that included several homes and lasted several hours on Tuesday. [More]
Let's hope they had several warrants--the story doesn't say.

"Two stolen weapons in one home and a small amount of cocaine in another" hardly seems like much of a success for a joint county/BATFU community clusterfrak, does it?  Sounds like need to lean a little harder on their snitch.

Obama Backs Gun Rights. Period.

...for all you "sportsmen." [More]

I left a comment, but the one I really want to call your attention to is the one by "Tree Hugger."

All such creatures have is their own ugliness.  What an ass.

Doubling Down

Your year-end gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $800,000, by a small group of very generous SPLC supporters, allowing your contribution to go twice as far in the fight against hate and injustice. [More]
So say the masters of hate and injustice.

Won't you please help Moe and the rest of his stooges live the lifestyle they're accustomed to?

I love them using a photo to make it look like "the little people" are donating coins when these astroturfing hatemongers just admitted they have a nucleus of rich benefactors.  Not to mention $200 million in their reserve fund. And not to mention a failing audit grade from the Better Business Bureau's "Wise Giving Alliance"...

[Thanks to Wayne Lutton for the tip]

No Expulsion?

Michael Carl has been in email correspondence with the school superintendent about the girl who left her hunting rifle locked in a case in her car trunk.

He has received assurances that "[C]ommon sense and understanding will be used in the matter as in all such matters. I could not and will not recommend expulsion in this matter."

Let's hope.

We're the Only Ones Proven Effective Enough

Sorry, but this is funny.

"Skidmark" Speaks

We talked about the VA gun owner being charged with brandishing and obstruction for pointing a finger and about a potential law enforcement conflict of interest.

He describes the incident in a video posted here.

The "authorities" really don't like people who know their rights, do they?

Virginia Tech official in denial before shootings and after report

the neThat Hincker thinks he and his colleagues acted appropriately is hardly surprising though. After all, this is the same administrator who, before the shootings, publicly ridiculed an adult student advocating for campus concealed carry... [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column notes that denial is sometimes the result of being clueless, and other times a tactic to avoid consequences.

Share the link?  Just think--in about a minute, you personally could notify more people about this than Hincker et al. did when lives were at stake, and it took them over two hours.

This Day in History: December 10

Thursday, December 10, 1778 -- According to order, the house proceeded to the election of a President, and the ballots being taken, the Hon. John Jay, Esq. was elected. [More]
