A Good Point

How many fire codes allow fire extinguishers that require a battery to operate? Before smartguns can be deemed reliable, therefore, they must incorporate countermeasures to address this issue.[More]
Introduce a bill requiring all government buildings to have "smart" fire extinguishers. You could come up with a rationale such as to prevent unauthorized persons from tampering with them so they are available when needed. Sit back and note what the objections coming from the gungrabbers are.

OK, I know that will never happen, but it was fun to type. Here's one that could: Design one for your place of public business where extinguishers are required, and have the fire department object and disallow it as  a violation of code, and make their reasons known.

Good grief, would you even ask?

We're the Only Ones Wookiee-Suited Enough

For the time being, forgo the "why?" on this (although  it's a damn good question) and make it today's Five-Minute "Only Ones" Activism:

1. Copy this photo.
2. Post it on "Demand/Everytown" social media sites.
3. Tell them it's your militia group. Don't tell them these are cops.
4. Sit back and feel the hate.

A modified version would be to have a pool bet with friends on how long it will take for one of the antis to point out everyone in the picture is white, and to start making racism accusations.

UPDATE: Evidently, criticism resulted in a pull-down of the photo from the Michigan State Police Facebook page:

Here's evidence that it once resided there:

Liberty Defined: The Future of Freedom

Ron Paul, the former 12-term Congressman and Presidential candidate,
takes a candid look at America’s increasingly dysfunctional political
system. Drawing on his 24 years in Congress, he highlights the need
to rein in unchecked government power. The author of numerous
#1 New York Times bestselling books, Dr. Paul is a leading advocate for individual liberty, privacy, limited constitutional government, low taxes
and spending, free markets, restrained foreign policy, and sound money. [More]

I'm going to find/make the time for this.

So You Think YOU Know, Jeffrey?

The courts had found that the first part, the “militia clause,” trumped the second part, the “bear arms” clause. In other words, according to the Supreme Court, and the lower courts as well, the amendment conferred on state militias a right to bear arms—but did not give individuals a right to own or carry a weapon. [More]
No cite for that, Jeffrey?

Just because you say so?

Gosh, if only you'd been around to tell Chief Justice Taney he had nothing to worry about in Dred Scott when he fretted that if blacks "were entitled to the privileges and immunities of citizens ... it would give them the full liberty ... to keep and carry arms wherever they went."

I guess that's why you're an important writer published in The Atlantic.

Because they've always adhered to such high standards.

When you're a "progressive," actually being informed and truthful is never as important as being able to manipulate the ignorant.  You know, the "same old" strategy.
