We're the Only Ones Getting You All Choked Up Enough

I can't breathe. I can't breathe. [Watch and Read]
Well, jeez, being accused of selling unlicensed cigarettes, why the surprise?

I see our old pal Liberty-Lynchin' Patrick of the Patrolmen's Benevolent Association-- and talk about your Orwellian oxymorons -- is "pleased."

Well  no wonder:
The guy lifted several fingers.

Suddenly, these lyrics take on new meaning:
Bad boys, bad boys
What'cha gonna do?
What'cha gonna do when they come for you?

I wonder if they ever think about that.

Oath Keepers reject orders, refuse to stand down, remain on Ferguson rooftops

“To assert that the property owners of Ferguson do not have the right to invite the Oath Keepers to assist them would be tantamount to telling an individual that they do not have the right to assist a neighbor in need. Additionally the property owners and Oath Keepers have numerous other Rights guaranteed by the United States Constitution including the right to freely assemble which may not be restricted by any County Ordinance or State Statute.” [More]
This afternoon's Gun Rights Examiner report notes an order that will not be obeyed.

Anonymous Baltimore gun tip reward line creates new dangers

What is clear is the promise of a reward and the guarantee that the person receiving it will not have to provide their name lends itself to the potential for abuse. Not only could gangland competitors be effectively removed, an opportunistic criminal could reap rewards for phoning such a calculated tip in, including the possibility of exploiting unsuspecting police to permanently eliminate reported rivals. Also unstated is what safeguards are in place to ensure rogue law enforcement officers don’t themselves create a tip to do an end run around Fourth Amendment protections, artificially establishing phony “probable cause” opportunities for stops, searches and seizures that would otherwise not present themselves. Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes nothing quite creates more opportunities to say "he went for his waistband" and set the stage for more Fergusons like Opposite Day "progressives" setting out to reduce minority "gundeaths."

A Symbolic Vote

In the meeting, “the lawmakers began coalescing around a two-part plan that would allow a symbolic vote to show their frustration with President Obama’s executive action on immigration, before funding the government ahead of a Dec. 11 deadline,” according to the New York Times. [More]
Frustrated? Getting cold feet?

Just slip on a pair of George F.U. Bush socks!

This is how establishment Republicans have their feet held to the fire.

This Day in History: December 3

From a consultation with the Secy at War we concluded that it would be fruitless, and therefore unadvisable to solicit either a repayment or sale of powder from the Magazines of the U. States. We were informed by him however that there are in the magazine within Virginia three hundred thirty six barrels of loose powder and seventy of fixed ammunition: that additional supplies will be forwarded as prudence may suggest; that this resource will on all emergencies be open to the State, and to ensure it the more satisfactorily that orders will be given to the Keepers in cases of invasion particularly, to comply with requisitions from the Executive.
