In Broad Daylight

Workman give his take on today's rally. [More]

And the Winner IS...

Not gun owners, that's for sure.

Remember the other day, when I talked about a guy endorsed by both Bloomberg AND NRA being pressured by Gabby?

Guess which side he chose.  And who he kissed off and betrayed.

Rick Snyder joins Bill Brown and Kirsten Gillibrand and a host of others over the years. Some day when I have the time (like that'll happen any time soon) I ought to do a compilation and maybe come up with a GunJudas award.

First Reports

Only 200? The "unofficial" rally last month had ten times that number. [More]

Plus I was told at least half were from the "no compromise" group, that is borne out by the fact that most brought firearms, despite being asked not to.

The paradigm has changed. I need to expand on that, but not for a while--busier than I can keep up with here today, with a JPFO draft due tonight, and I also still need to write my speech...

Yeah, well, uh...

Listen, send the kids out of the room for a minute?

All clear?

No, I'm not going to let them provoke me into losing my composure, but you know what I was going to say to "Sponsors" Randall Friese, Charlene Fernandez, Rosanna Gabaldón, Stefanie Mach, Victoria Steele, and Albert Hale.

Some of us won't surrender to traitors. And it looks like the same cabal is behind this abomination.

Yeah, I know, these won't pass -- now. But 10 years from now, all bets will be off. And it's why the Bloombergians, like all childish creatures, ever impatient with their demands to have it all NOW, are circumventing the legislatures.

What all need to understand is some of us will not comply and will not disarm.

Their move.

Jour Opposé

You can also go to jail for using speech to defy the government. This past weekend, millions of folks in France wore buttons and headbands that proclaimed in French: “I am Charlie Hebdo.” Those whose buttons proclaimed “I am not Charlie Hebdo” were asked by the police to remove them. Those who wore buttons that proclaimed, either satirically or hatefully, “I am Kouachi” were arrested. Arrested for speech at a march in support of free speech? Yes. [More]
Yep. "Progressives."

Right down to the most important part.

I wonder if I'd get arrested for this?  I mean, just for expressing it...

The Fast Track

In “fast track,” Congress passes a bill which delegates to Barack Obama the legislative authority to do anything he wants -- ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING -- so long as he includes it in a “trade agreement.” [More]
Yeah, exactly what this "A-rated" Republimole and his establishment handlers want us to do, forsaking all other priorities.

Do I dare mention this one to the bridge club, because we could use those explosives about now...?

The Shallow End

For those who have yet to dip their toe into the water... [More]

With all those years of indoctrination, hopefully this will do some good.  I would be interested to hear if there are any polite "concessions" the guy from "our side" will make to appear "reasonable."

The Parable of the Bridge Builder

A team was building a bridge to span a gulf, allowing a freedom train to cross.

One team member distinguished himself by helping get them supplies and equipment, to the point where he was honored as a champion of the effort. But at night, he would lower explosives from the scaffolding to another team that was waiting below to sabotage the bridge and bring it crashing down.

Another team member noticed and alerted the others. This upset the team leaders very much.

So they ignored the team member who issued the warning, and reminded everyone of all the "good" their "champion" had done for the cause.

Oh, and thanks, Mike.

Thing is, in "Roundtable" Rosie's case, it's a daily mud-wallowing.

As long as a critical mass of cud-chewers are hooked on this  crap, the MILMs will have an unending supply of useful idiettes to bus around.

This Day in History: January 15

The evacuation of Charlestown has increased the sterility of the south in news. It is said, but I cannot determine with what truth, that considerable purchases have been made of the british goods found there: and that a great quantity of them is destined for Virginia. Great stratagem must be used to accomplish their introduction here, and North Carolina has shewn by a late condemnation of a cargo of british goods that they will not be suffered to pass thro’ her territory without arrest.
