You mean to tell me... that limiting magazine capacity didn't make criminals behave themselves? Well, shucksbygolly!

The story on Baltimore features a photo of the L.A. police chief holding a Glock 17 with---supposedly---an extended magazine. A quick search reveals that there are a few companies that sell, strangely, extended mags with a finger-groove floorplate. But since this pic shows the chief holding the pistol in his right hand while supporting the mag with his left, I strongly suspect he's just holding a normal factory magazine barely inserted into the grip. While it's no surprise that he'd lie in such a way, crap like this still manages to disgust me because so many people will just accept such a photo without questioning this crude, obvious fakery.

Just a rant.

Charlie Beck, an AP photographer and Bloomberg's The Trace set up a visual lie to spook the herd into more demands for disarmament?

Where would you ever get an idea like that?
