Locutus of Borg

Patrick Stewart is applying for US citizenship to 'fight' Donald Trump [More]
Not "Donald Trump," but the righteous goals of the people who voted for him. So tell the enemy alien to take his hive mind and get lost.

If an official function doesn't "secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity," government has no business performing it. A thorough understanding and agreement with founding intent on that and on the Bill of Rights ought to be a requirement, for would-be citizens, and I'd argue, for visitors.

"We are the Borg. Lower your shields and surrender your ships. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile."

Funny how Patrick Stewart can make a fool of himself when he doesn't have a scriptwriter putting words in his mouth. I've noticed that actors tend to be like that when left on their own.

Bullshit - this is transparent virtue signalling. Most likely applying for citizenship to avoid the onerous taxes levied upon those in the U.K. who actually work for a living, or who have money.

Besides - he can fight against Trump ideals by filling all his spare bedrooms with North African and Syrian refugees right where he is. Any bets on how "white" his current neighborhood is, and how tall the gates?
