Eclipse Proves America is Racist

It has been dubbed the Great American Eclipse, and along most of its path, there live almost no black people. [More]
For some, that was probably a blessing in disguise.

The Atlantic still has the same M.O, I see...

About Damn Time

Christian Group Sues SPLC and Amazon Over 'Hate Group' Designation [More]
I'm glad someone has the resources to try. Maybe a favorable judgment will enable others to follow suit.

Per InstaPundit.com, it won't be a slam dunk on defamation and trademark grounds, but Commerce Clause public accommodations might be what works.

We're the Only Ones Unwarranted Enough?

“In performing its duties, the Commission, through its Board or designated employees or agents, may: Enter ... any lands, waters, and premises adjacent to the WMATA Rail System ... for the purpose of making inspections, investigations, examinations, and testing as the Commission may deem necessary to carry out the purposes of this MSC Compact, and such entry shall not be deemed a trespass.” [More]
So is this a grave new threat to liberty or much ado about nothing over standard easements?

A Study in Contrasts

Armed militia surrounding peaceful protests in Kansas City sets nerves on edge [More]
But they did not resort to violence, did they?

Look what happens when the situation is essentially reversed.

About that 10-Day March to Confront 'White Supremacy'

Aside from this being a non-issue for anyone except opportunistic communists and their useful "progressive" idiots, the "news" is mostly using "representative" photos of previous marches.  [More]

I'm interested not only in numbers but also in the diversity.

Accident by Design

Gun accidentally fired ... A gun accidentally was fired... A gun accidentally was fired ... “There was minimal damage to the wall from the accidental discharge.” [More]
Except the idiot mother intentionally pulled the trigger to see if the gun was real.

Reminds me of an epitaph...

That's funny... Lennox Square is a Simon Mall...

We're the Only Ones Resupplied Enough

Trump prepares to lift limits on military gear for police [More]
I pretty much outlined my militarization concerns reflecting on how it would complicate a Battle of Athens rematch.

Anybody see any bills for all those "stauch defenders of the Second Amendment"  we keep getting suckered into voting for on carrying out their "organizing, arming, and disciplining" the Militia mandate, and by that I'm talking about including (b)(2)...?

Underpants Gnomes Redux

1. Liberals are attacking the foundations of a society based on the liberties enshrined in the Constitution.
2. ?
3. A society based on the liberties enshrined in the Constitution. So, what’s Step Two? [More]
Not the first time that's been used for an analogy by someone named Kurt...*

I agree with not being overly picky about fighting back using any chair at hand. That's why I've recommended stuff like RICO actions and "knew or should have known" civil suits against those financing subversives, among numerous other suggestions I doubt I'll ever see happen. I've actually been an advocate of using "the left's" laws against them for a long time and I'm sure I could come up with a dozen examples if I didn't have other stuff to do right now.

In terms of a broader and more detailed plan, lacking a crystal ball and, importantly, unified leadership with resources, I'm pretty much stuck in the same place as everyone else and must make do with hoping my preparations, alliances and reactive adaptations get me and mine through as far as they can against whatever "wicked this way comes."

Termination Proceedings

All three Custer County commissioners could end up out of a job [More] Per George Gramlich via email:
Colorado Politics/Statesman is read by every state wide politician in Colorado. Hopefully a wake up call and rally cry to other patriots to stand up to lying, dishonest politicians.

Because Ignorance is the Answer!

A school in Woodstock, Georgia, is facing fierce criticism online after photos emerged of young students handling guns at a firing range during a school-sanctioned trip. [More]
PSH and the obligatory noises from the state notwithstanding, some of those photos merit a closer look, fingerwise and hammerwise:

If you're going to teach them, teach them right.

I can't tell if the "NRA... gun control" line is a mistake or an appropriate use of the term -- in more ways than one, if you think about it.

Don't Start No Sh... It Won't be No Sh...

“Promotions such as those mentioned above constitute civil rights violations under the California Unruh Civil Rights Act and entitle the individual subject to discrimination to statutory damages in the amount of $4,000.00 per violation, in addition to costs and attorneys’ fees should litigation be commenced,” the letter’s author, Gregory Rolando, wrote. [More]
Looks like Gregory's feelin' the earned love on Yelp and Ripoff Report. I'm wondering if anyone's gonna make a SoCal janitorial service/INS presumption...

He could have just told the range he identifies as a woman...

In the Spirit of 'Bipartisanship'

A quick head count of the Senate shows that bill essentially dead on arrival. In addition to most or all Democrats lining up against the legislation, several Republicans are also balking at it, including members of the 2013 “Gang of Eight,” such as John McCain, R-Ariz., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C. [More]
And the "compromise" will be to put the age group most favorable to collectivism on that "pathway to citizenship"?

Good thing none of this has anything to do with that "single issue."

Looking for Grievances

If this is what people have to be upset about, they want to be upset.  [More]

We're the Only Ones Belittling Enough

A Florida sheriff has fired a decorated deputy who was recorded taunting an autistic student at the middle school where he provided security and guidance. [More]
Why? It sounds like they were on equal intellectual footing.

And the Full Feral Retard Award Goes To...

On Dec. 20, he wrote “I got my 9″ wit (sic) full clips. Mixed with poison hallows, regular hallows and strait meadle (sic) jackets.” When asked by text where he got the weapon, Trinh allegedly texted: “A yistol (sic) shop.” [More]
The fruits of "progressivism"...

And yeah, the "Authorized Journalists" missed a few "(sics)."

We're the Only Ones Deliberately Indifferent Enough

But a Los Angeles Times review of records from 20 of the state’s largest police and sheriff’s departments, plus the Alameda County district attorney’s office, found some agencies have been slow to follow or have ignored the law. [More]
Then do what they'd do to us if we were slow to obey a command or tried to ignore it.

Or is the fact that an example hasn't already been made an indication that things go higher up? How much of this surveillance abuse was "allowed" on Kamala's watch?

My Name is Legion: For We are Many

Genderqueer artist Dean Hutton has spent much of their life seeing the world through a lens. They were chief photographer at the Mail & Guardian and have worked as a photojournalist for over 18 years... [More]
"Their"?

"They"?

How many are in there, anyway? And are we sure they all drowned?

I don't know what's more defective -- this ... thing, or those that embrace and promote its freakshow madness.

They sure do seem to be upset with everything, starting with reality.

We're the Only Ones Trying Enough

An army of anarchists in black clothing and masks routed a small group of right-wing demonstrators who had gathered in a Berkeley park Sunday to rail against the city’s famed progressive politics, driving them out — sometimes violently — while overwhelming a huge contingent of police officers. Hundreds of officers tried ... [More]
No they didn't.

Besides...

Here's another view from the Opposite Day "progressive" Rally Against Hate:

And SURPRISE!  They're not just against "hate speech":
Journalists were not spared from violence, as Antifa members attempted to seize phones and cameras by force. Antifa members can be heard yelling “Take his camera! Take his phone!”
Yet the meme being shoved down everyone's throats, and enthusiastically exploited by establishment "Republicans," is Trump was wrong to say the commie side had its share of culpability.

It's pretty clear that conditions are being set up to provoke an armed response, and that "crisis" in turn will be used to justify more controls on guns and on everything.
