T.L. Davis Interview with Michael Dukes

For those of you who missed the last "Firearms Friday," you can catch up here on Google Play. [Listen]

I've seen a disparaging comment from the "Always Say Something Negative" crowd about that being the platform to access.  He didn't say who his ISP is or who made his device and operating system, but I'll assume he purchased everything from a solid 2A concern while only dealing with patriots in all matters economic.

The Bloody Red Baron was Rollin' Out the Score

Kim Jong-un could launch nuclear bombing raids on South Korea using 70-year-old BIPLANES so slow they cannot be tracked by modern radars [More]
This reminds me of an Arthur C. Clarke story about a war lost because of the enemys inferior science.

Half-Witt

He claimed he was stabbed for looking like a “neo-Nazi.” Now police say he bought the knife himself. Joshua Witt faces a fine of up to $2,650 and up to one year in jail for filing a false report [More]
Good. Being a stupid liar ought to hurt.

Everytown Critique a Sign of ‘Trouble in Paradise’

Finding political common ground aside (NRA has a substantial Law Enforcement Division), the two groups have plenty of differences, and FOP has had a mixed record on citizen disarmament going back at least to the Handgun Control, Inc. days. They’ll also on occasion share interests, as when FOP joined ATF in opposing the release of trace data. Using Ranta’s “logic,” ATF must not be anti-gun enough, which kind of gives you an idea of infringements she’d like to see. [More]
Even confiscation isn't good enough for those who demand their delusions be reality. Nothing is. Nothing can be.

We're the Only Ones Penetrating Enough

Dayton-area police officer accused of forcing women into sex acts [More]
I'm sure

this is

just an

isolated instance.

Wouldn't

you

agree

with

that?

Ultracompact

L.A. is poised to roll back its ban on 'ultracompact' guns [More]
I wonder how many are California-compliant. And "Der" is threatening a legal fight.

As for his asinine "weapon of choice" lie...

Besides, we're supposed to already have an ultra-Compact.

[Via Jess]

Always Think Forfeiture

In July, we reinstituted our equitable sharing program... [More]
That's one way to put it.

Soul-Searching at the ACLU

Maybe some speech isn’t worth defending.  [More]
I hadn't realized the First and Second Amendments are either/or propositions.

And don't you first need a soul?

I'll Believe It When I See It

Is the IRS Scandal About to Break Wide Open? [More]
I asked a similar question once.

Nothing ever really changes unless there's a credible "or else" attached to the demand.

More than Half-Empty

A coalition of 21 state attorneys general filed a brief on Friday urging the Supreme Court to hear a case against Maryland's assault weapons ban. [More]
So why the hell isn't it 30?

Welcome to the Party, Pal

Muslim Reformer Joins Christians in Suing Far-Left Terror-Linked Organization for 'Hate' Defamation [More]
Nice to see more and more people having a Salish epiphany about those frauds.

Vive La Différence?

"Senate Bill 219 ...  would make it unlawful, except as specified, for any long-term care facility to take specified actions wholly or partially on the basis of a person’s actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) status, including, among others, willfully and repeatedly failing to use a resident’s preferred name or pronouns after being clearly informed of the preferred name or pronouns” [More]
Stating reality will be a crime. How very "progressive."

So what if someone's "preferred name" is "hateful" and they insist on being called that?

Going to the Dogs

Well look what stopped it.  I thought that never happens...? [More]

Per the video report, authorities couldn't take the dogs into custody without owner consent because they're property?  Funny, because if the owner had been the one attacking, they sure could have taken him in.

Under Pressure?

A bill that would allow Alabama residents to carry concealed weapons without a permit is headed again to the Alabama Legislature, and the bill’s sponsor says the pressure will be on lawmakers who oppose it. [More]
Will it be?

How many gun owners are in Alabama?

How many have contacted their representatives about this and actually applied some pressure? How many have ever contacted them, or know how to, or even know who their representatives are?

If the number of social media followers the state gun groups have is any indication of membership and advocacy involvement, there's more apathy than there is pressure.

Inherit the Wind

Breaking from a 34-year-old tradition, the historic Orpheum Theatre in downtown Memphis, Tennessee, announced Friday that it will not show Gone With the Wind in its future summer movie series because of the film’s “insensitive” racial content.  [More]
An ill wind is picking up force. And frankly, my dear, it'll be what you do give a damn about that it blows away next.

Define 'Winning'

You see, in their zeal to eradicate AR-15 features their state, law-abiding Californians who want the rifles are finding creative ways to get around the law. [More]
Outfoxing and leaving the tyrants sputtering, are they? That creativity doesn't "get around" the core infringements though, does it?

As longtime friend and colleague Brian Puckett once noted:
I sometimes wonder whether the socialists will issue an edict requiring all firearms to have a pink ribbon tied to the barrel, just to get a belly laugh as the panicked descendants of once-proud American patriots scurry to comply.
Don't look for the "gun rights leaders" to ever admit how such widespread and focused contempt for a supposedly fundamental right is legislatively and judicially imposed in California. It's not part of that "single issue."

"Winning" will not be possible as long as that deliberate indifference takes precedence -- at least by the methods such groups employ.

It's No Secret

WHY COPS ARE STANDING DOWN IN BERKELEY AND BEYOND [More]
Because it serves their masters' purposes.

The most unpredictable thing about the next Reichstag fire will be the form that it takes. The most predictable will be the assumption of more control.

'Terry Steinawitz'

You won't find the "author" on Google or Facebook or Twitter.  That's because the purpose of this and pieces like it is to wave a red flag and provoke anti-Semitic comments from useful idiots in order to smear us all as "Nazis."

Don't take the bait. Or if you do, regurgitate it somewhere else.

Joltin' Joe Hs Left and Gone Away

“If they’re stupid enough to take down Columbus, then they better put up DiMaggio,” Piscopo said. [More]
You think they won't find a reason to tear that down as well?

The object is subjugation and replacement.

We'll let you know what you're allowed to remember.
